@SpursCulture Spurs just get worked in the closing minutes. It’s obviously not a talent thing (they have Wemby) Right now, one team knows how to close out a game and the other team doesn’t. It literally has just come down to the intangible quality of “clutch-ness” That can change with time 🤷♂️
@SamPepe13@BrianSuttererMD I don’t think the Spurs would be in this position against the Cavs. Not because the Cavs are untalented but because of the Knicks track record (this year) of coming back & playing well in the last few mins. Over & over & over. At some point you have to give it up for them.
@SamPepe13@BrianSuttererMD Not really. We’re coming to a different conclusion. It seems like he’s saying the Knicks are winning because the Spurs are just arbitrarily choking. I’m saying the Spurs wouldn’t necessarily be choking against a worse team. To some degree it’s a byproduct of their opponent’s play
@teepeefive@The_Fan_Report If you’re arguing they have more “talent” that’s a different semantical discussion but I don’t see them as a “better” team right now. I don’t know how anyone could. They keep getting outplayed in the most important part of the game.
@teepeefive@The_Fan_Report I’d argue the way you play in the 4th quarter matters just as much if not more than how you play during the rest of the game. The Knicks have pretty clearly been the better team in the 4th quarter this series. I don’t but the Spurs are “better” just because they start games well.
@notorious_jod I mean they’re just happy because they love ball & their team and it’s going well for one of the only times of the last half century. This sounds like cope. Most fans are just fans if you ignore the obvious trolls here on twitter. You’ll find whatever you’re looking for on here.
@ZachNBA_ I literally have no idea what you’re talking about 😂 That being said, you may be a bit too worked up if you’re complaining about weird homer accounts on twitter…reading into press conference quotes? Is that the problem? 😂
@CGasparino It’s good to remind the country that our current sitting president actually believes that. That’s the level of person we have in charge here.
@TobiBuehner@NateDuncanNBA Great. I’m fine with you having whatever opinion you want. I just wanted to see if you had the self awareness to realize you’re in the minority. The way you were interacting with the first guy it seemed like you thought his opinion was unusual.
@TobiBuehner I hadn’t seen this so I didn’t have the chance to read (or misread…haha so funny sick burn) it yet.
This was after Game 1 which was much less egregious than the 2nd game. I’d be interested to know what he thought about Friday.
@TobiBuehner Its weird because even if @NateDuncanNBA DID say something in reference to not having a problem with the KAT fouls, the tech or non-whistle for NY…you still admit you and he would be outside of general consensus, right? You understand the majority of NBA watchers disagree?
@TobiBuehner Are you talking about the L2M report? Thats the only thing I’ve seen Duncan specifically defend on this app but that isn’t what folks have had major issues with…
I listen to Dunc’d On so I know he didn’t have a strong take either way on the pod. What did you hear & who else?
