@EvilKoopa91@OSUHoopsInsider Bynum is from Nebraska.. you’re awfully confident for a guy who has no idea what he’s talking about. I’m not here saying Diebler is currently a great coach, but at least pick at the actual shortcomings.
@PhoenixMaximus2@_Pat_Murphy Maybe media or Cals agents floated the idea for leverage, but Cal was never coming here. He was going to a school like Arkansas with significant NIL investment. Same reason Dusty went to Michigan and turned it around quickly. OSU was not willing to commit to allocating the funds
@JimboHenkeldick@OSUHoopsInsider@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion I went to about 10 games this year, including most of the non-con games. The arena sucks, but the environment would be better if more than 9k people showed up. The point was no one gives a shit or supports until it’s time to shit on the program. Give the admin a reason to invest.
@JimboHenkeldick@OSUHoopsInsider@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion I agree that there needs to be a greater investment of resources. But the administration doesn’t have much incentive when the fan base doesn’t care most of the year. The Schott is the Schott. It sucks, but the university isn’t going to invest the funds to build a new arena.
@JimboHenkeldick@OSUHoopsInsider@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion Yet in the other thread you mention being frustrated with the administrations mismanagement of resources. That is valid. The point is no one gives a shit until they come on twitter in February and throw out obtuse arguments like you’re doing right now.
@JimboHenkeldick@OSUHoopsInsider@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion Again, you’re proving the point. I directly address your comment about in the previous tweet about recruits and now you say it’s not about recruits. You say in this tweet we have enough resources to recruit anywhere.
@JimboHenkeldick@OSUHoopsInsider@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion You’re proving his take… you’re a casual. Ohio has been pillaged by prep schools in recent years. Top talent hasn’t even stayed in state for high school. The Bucks also have Anthony Thompson, a top recruit, coming in next year and LJ Smith committed the following.
@JimboHenkeldick@MostlyHoopsShow@clubtrillion The reason Michigan was able to turn the program around quickly is because they were willing to financially invest. One of Titus main points. That’s why Dusty May went to Michigan. Buckeye fans always say we chose Diebler over May, but in reality I think May wanted the resources
@UncPecos@OSUHoopsInsider I wouldn’t call floaters in traffic open layups. He’s a guard averaging almost 60% from the field and is forced to play 37 minutes a game. What, you want him to shoot 75% from the field? He has a higher fg% than all of the players on the list.
@meekz_16@TheSchottPod They were clearly going to foul Mobley if he continued up court. If you call a timeout, they foul before you shoot. Obviously you don’t really want Tilly shooting the shot, but it was an open look that we wouldn’t have gotten in another scenario.
