Yes, I suffered an injury, but the night spent waiting for attention in the A&E department was an interesting one. A certain camaraderie developed.

🚨🏴 Leo Messi: “Facing England will be special! It’s my first time playing against England. I’ve played against just about everyone except them”.

🚨💣 Bukayo Saka explains why he embraced Martin Ødegaard after the final whistle. ❤️
🗣️ "The quickest run I made all game was after the final whistle."
"Not to celebrate. Not to swap shirts. I just wanted to make sure my captain wasn't standing there on his own."
"People saw England against Norway. I just saw Martin. I know how much this game meant to him because I know how much he loves playing for his country."
"He's always the first to celebrate with us when things go well and the first to lift us when they don't. In that moment, it was my turn to be there for him."
"Football gives you good days and hard days. That's part of the game. But nobody should go through the hard days alone."
"We'll be back together at Arsenal soon. He's still my captain, and nothing about that has changed."
Guinea have written to CAF, saying they don't feel safe playing in South Africa in the AFCON Qualifier due to the anti-migrant protests.
They have called for the venue for their game against South Africa to be moved to a neutral ground.
@mullings_clive Uncle Ian always talks straight. He’s a Gooner, after all. And he’s right. The British media are cruel and decide which black people they are going to admire or at least tolerate, and which they have decided are a bit “off.”
From @TheAthleticFC: Ahead of the World Cup semifinals, we have revisited our rankings of the top players at this summer's tournament. What do you think about the top 10? https://t.co/sQkIyX8erx
George, I do respect your work, but it’s insulting to see this sideways acknowledgment of the TCN issue. Your claims over the past couple of weeks have been all over the place, downplaying, shifting and twisting, and now, when it seems convenient, invoking a fear-based comparison with Antigua’s visa situation.
This was never simply about whether the government should accept or reject TCN deportees. It was about transparency. Tell the Jamaican people what we are facing and let us deal with the reality. The main problem is the apparent cover-up and the resulting loss of trust.
Now we get another spin this morning, a backhanded acknowledgment of the TCN issue wrapped in FEAR. Are Jamaicans now supposed to be AFRAID that we won’t be able to travel to America if we question the acceptance of foreign criminals into our country?
This level of insult is, quite frankly, disturbing. You can do better as a journalist. smh 🙄
I think this is how we compare apples and and oranges. Antigua, Dominica and a few other countries are facing restrictions because of CBI related concerns, something we do not have in Jamaica.
In Gaza, where so much has been lost, one Palestinian bookseller is preserving what remains.
Mohammed Saad has rebuilt his library from books recovered from the rubble of his home and is now selling rescued volumes from a roadside tent bookstore in Deir el Balah.
Every FIFA World Cup, Neville and @simclarkecooper make the same bet: Brazil has to win. Unfortunately for Neville, they haven't lifted the trophy in several tournaments. 😂🇧🇷 Over the years, he's honoured every lost bet by giving Simone his car, shaving his head and even wearing a wig. This year, after Brazil's Round of 16 exit, the wager was to install locs, and true to his word, he revealed his new look ahead of this morning's show. 🙌
Neville is proof that keeping your word never goes out of style. 👏
