@cait_valentine @unsweethairline And also I have no issue with adults or children above age 2 wearing a mask. Just don’t judge me because my child is large and looks like he is older than 2 sometimes!
@cait_valentine @unsweethairline It’s due to suffocation risks (per the AAP article) and it causes them to touch their face more than deter it like it does in adults. Also, I know there have been cases of covid in children under age 2 but it isn’t as likely due to their immune system being in overdrive already.
@unsweethairline @cait_valentine However, children under 2 should not wear a mask according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. I chose not to take my child many places because of this but parents shouldn’t be judge for following their child’s doctor’s orders.
