The existential questions of the offseason in college football: Do we want rules? Do we want to be governed?
In Lubbock, the answer is no. Brendan Sorsby is, for now, eligible to play in 2026 at Texas Tech.
Complete travesty.
Iran admits extraordinary new detail in Khamenei strike, Trump 'offered way out': expert | Emma Bussey, Fox News
New details from Iran’s top diplomat about the strike that killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei provide some of the clearest evidence yet of the precision and strategy behind the joint U.S.-Israeli operation that launched Operation Epic Fury, counterterrorism experts said Sunday.
The account, revealed by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a new television interview, also highlights what analysts describe as a defining feature of President Donald Trump’s national security doctrine: using a decapitation strike against a hostile regime while simultaneously creating an off-ramp to end the conflict.
"Well, the building we were sitting in was targeted, but the wing we were in remained intact while the other wing of the building was destroyed," Araghchi said in an interview that aired June 4 on the Lebanon-based, Hezbollah-backed Al Mayadeen television network.
While Araghchi survived the Feb. 28 strike because he was in a different wing of Khamenei's compound when the attack occurred, he went on to detail how Khamenei was in his office and how others survived.
Reviewing the original segment, counterterrorism expert Dr. Omar Mohammed told Fox News Digital that Araghchi’s account confirms the operation targeted a specific section of the complex rather than flattening the entire site.
"In the Arabic version, Araghchi says he was in a different wing of the compound, briefing another official, and his wing survived while the leader’s office was destroyed," Mohammed explained.
Araghchi also told the interviewer that he had an appointment that day with an official at the compound regarding the Geneva negotiations and that, based on the usual workflow, Khamenei "had to be present in his office."
Mohammed, director of the Antisemitism Research Initiative at the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, added that if Araghchi’s account is accurate, this was Iran's glaring acknowledgment of U.S. strategic capabilities.
"They did not flatten a building; they took one wing and left the one next to it standing. That is President Trump’s whole doctrine in a single strike — he does not want a war of occupation, he wants to show the United States can reach the center of a hostile regime with precision and then offer it a way out," Mohammed said.
The daylight strike on elder Khamenei’s compound was carried out by Israeli jets targeting the site with 30 precision munitions alongside Sparrow air-launched ballistic missiles.
Military officials confirmed that a precise strike sequence killed Khamenei, 86, alongside Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh, IRGC Commander Mohammed Pakpour and multiple top security leaders.
Trump confirmed U.S. involvement in Khamenei’s killing in a post on social media at the time.
"He was unable to avoid our intelligence and highly sophisticated tracking systems, and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he or the other leaders killed alongside him could do," the president wrote.
"Iran was handed the clearest message an adversary can get — we can reach your leader in his own office, and here is the off-ramp," Mohammed noted. "A rational state takes the exit. Tehran did the opposite. It fired on Israel, killed a civilian in Bahrain, struck Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, and closed the Strait of Hormuz, setting off a global energy crisis. The surgical strike was American. The months-long war that followed was Iran's choice."
Following the leadership transition, Ali Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, became Iran's new supreme leader.
He has since been involved in back-channel discussions with the U.S. while maintaining a confrontational public stance.
"In Arabic, Araghchi calls the new leader ‘the young Khamenei in place of the elderly Khamenei.’ That is the language of a monarchy, not a republic of clerics," Mohammed observed. "They are rewriting the theology on air to fit a son who lacks the religious rank, who was wounded in the same strike and who then vanished for weeks. A revolution that came to power by ending a monarchy is handing the throne from father to son."
"The real story is not that Iran is strong," Mohammed continued. "It was shown the precision of American power and the door was held open, and it chose to widen the war instead."

Police Officers Admit DEI Training Pressured Them to Ignore Dying White Teen Henry Nowak | Steve Watson, Modernity
Officers from the force that failed Henry Nowak have now admitted they felt “controlled and pressured to feel certain ways” after mandatory DEI sessions that hammered home ‘white privileged’ and unconscious bias.
The trainer outsourced to deliver the course was described as “deeply hateful of white people and British culture.” Serving and former Hampshire officers told former Home Secretary Suella Braverman they were furious but stayed silent out of fear for their careers.
Multiple officers from Hampshire Constabulary have now gone on record about the ideological pressure inside the force.
Several serving and former Hampshire Police Officers have told me that ‘we had it drummed into us about our white privilege and unconscious bias’.
Training was outsourced to a third party company and the trainer ‘was deeply hateful of white people and our culture.’
Officers have reported to me about being furious but unable to complain out of fear for their jobs.
This is exactly why I blocked the Race Action Plan as Home Secretary.
It is disgraceful that this stuff went on in policing. And the PCC and CC need to be held to account.
— Suella Braverman (@SuellaBraverman) June 3, 2026
They described how DEI modules on white privilege, unconscious bias, and the importance of being an “ally” were drilled into them.
It’s not limited to this one police force either.
Back in April 2025, we detailed how UK police forces were already forcing officers into training explicitly designed to make them accept their “white privilege.”
Thames Valley Police rolled out mandatory equity training covering white privilege, micro-aggressions, and the push from “non-racist” to “anti-racist.” An independent review led by former assistant chief constable Kerrin Wilson found the sessions created deep divisions.
White officers expressed strong frustration and felt disadvantaged, while some minority officers said the training was harmful to real diversity efforts and would deter them from seeking promotion.
Former government advisor and ex-police officer Rory Geoghegan warned that crude categorisation by skin colour and critical race theory ideology had no place in an impartial police service.
The Hampshire police chief has publicly denied any anti-white bias or two-tier system. Yet the bodycam evidence and these officer admissions tell a different story.
An ex-cop who reviewed the footage called the response “unfathomable,” rejecting excuses about fast-moving situations or complexity. Basic procedure requires treating a victim who says he has been stabbed and cannot breathe as a medical emergency first — not as a potential racist offender based on the word of the man who stabbed him.
Yet, the police watchdog investigated the officers’ conduct and concluded there was no wrongdoing.
This is the same pattern seen in other high-profile failures: institutions investigate themselves, apply their own captured standards, and declare everything acceptable.
The public saw the footage. Henry Nowak’s family saw their son die after being treated as the problem rather than the victim. The watchdog saw no issue.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Keir Starmer has defended religious exemptions that allow Sikhs to carry large ceremonial knives in public. At the same time, British women face prosecution for carrying ordinary pepper spray for self-defense on the streets at night.

To make matters even worse, a tiny replica sword from a video game will land a white British man in prison.
You will go to jail for owning a miniscule video game sword replica in the UK.
But if you're a foreigner, you will be exempt from the law entirely.
— Templarpilled (@Templarpilled) June 3, 2026
The contrast could not be clearer.
Religious or cultural exemptions shield other groups from the same strict weapons laws. Henry Nowak’s case shows what happens when the system already views native Britons through a lens of presumed guilt or lesser priority.
Henry Nowak was not a threat. He was a student who had been stabbed and was dying in front of officers trained to see race first and humanity second. The attacker walked away with different treatment. The victim’s pleas were secondary to a racism narrative pushed by the perpetrator’s side.
This is the predictable result of years of ideological capture inside policing — training that reframes basic law enforcement as potential oppression when the victim is white and British.
Officers who spoke out did so at personal risk. The watchdog protected the system. Starmer protects exemptions for some while ordinary citizens, especially women, are left defenseless under the same rules.
Britain’s police were once expected to protect the public without fear or favor. When training teaches officers to weigh skin color and ideology before acting on a dying man’s words, the institution has already failed its core purpose. Henry Nowak paid the price. The admissions now emerging confirm what the footage always showed.
The pushback against this capture is growing. Exposing the training, the excuses, and the double standards is the first step toward restoring policing that serves the entire country rather than imported ideologies. Native Britons deserve equal protection under the law — not to be treated as somehow ‘privileged’ while they bleed to death.

@ByPatForde Worst case scenario. The 2 most administratively inept organizations are attempting to redefine college athletics.
This is symptomatic of the overall failure of legislation coming throughDC. All of it is drafted by lobbyists who could care less about our society
On the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence, the Democrat Party is nominating al-Qaeda, Nazi, Marxist candidates for Congress, most of whom are likely to win. The Democrat Party is the vessel through which the Marxist-Islamists are conquering our country, just as the leftwing parties in Europe served the same purpose.
A Very Confused Joe Biden Crashes Jill’s Book Event, Steals Spotlight in Extremely Pathetic and Uncomfortable 'Who Do You Love Most?' Moment | Cassandra MacDonald, The Gateway Pundit
In what has to be one of the most awkward public moments in recent history, former President Joe Biden, 83, hijacked his wife Jill Biden’s debut book event Tuesday night, wandering up to the stage uninvited to ask her, in front of a live audience, “Who do you love most in the whole world?”
The cringe-inducing scene took place at the 92nd Street Y on Manhattan’s Upper East Side during a Q&A session promoting Jill Biden’s new memoir, A View from the East Wing.
The event, moderated by The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, was meant to celebrate the former First Lady’s reflections on her time in the White House.
Instead, it turned into yet another spotlight-stealing display from the likely senile former president.
Jill Biden, 75, had just wrapped up the discussion when an audience member submitted a comment thanking Joe Biden for his service.
Jill stood and led the room in a standing ovation for her husband, who was seated in the audience.
That’s when Biden decided the moment was all about him.
Without a microphone and flanked by security, Biden left his seat, strolled to the edge of the stage, and interrupted the event by declaring, “I have a question,” according to a report from the New York Post.
“Joe has a question, like you couldn’t ask it later?” Jill fired back.
“Who do you love most in the whole world?” Biden responded, clearly not taking a hint.
“Whoopi,” Jill replied, prompting laughter from the likely-uncomfortable audience.
Biden, apparently unhappy with the response, just stared at her with his mouth agape.
“I love you most, Joe. Was that it? Was that the answer he wanted?” Jill said.
“It’s overwhelming, isn’t it?” Biden replied, still speaking without a microphone.
Jill kept the banter going, joking that she likes to keep him guessing, “Overwhelming, well, that’s what keeps him on his toes. He’s never 100% sure. I always keep him guessing, is that not true?”
At that point, Biden lowered his head and made the sign of the cross, a move that only added to the surreal atmosphere.
Goldberg tried to steer things back on track, urging the audience to buy Jill’s book. But Biden wasn’t done.
Biden pointed and began promoting his own upcoming memoir, “My book, which comes out in September, read it…”
A crew member finally handed him a microphone.
Jill, clearly trying to regain control of her event, joked, “Do I have to remind him that this is my event?”
Biden didn’t stop.
“The only thing that Jill does better than write [is], she’s a beautiful woman,” he said.
Earlier in the talk, Jill reportedly spoke about Joe’s Stage IV prostate cancer diagnosis in May of last year, which had already spread to his bones.
She noted he completed radiation therapy in October and said, “You see Joe here tonight, he looks handsome as ever … but you know, cancer drugs, cancer treatments have those consequences, and those consequences are pretty tough.”

If Israel had attacked four countries tonight, the podcaster class would be up in arms.
Iran just attacked four countries, they haven’t said a word.
Weird.
Just what do lefties like Graham Platner have to do to get Democrats to condemn them? | David Harsanyi, New York Post
Democrats are again acting like they occupy the high moral ground of American politics.
But if 2026 has proven anything, it’s that there’s virtually nothing a left-wing candidate could say or do that would elicit condemnation from Democrats if doing so threatened their power.
Democrats, for example, demand credit for their opposition to Maureen Galindo, the Texas House candidate who proposed putting American “Zionists” (wink, wink) into concentration camps and castrating them.
Galindo lost her Texas primary last week, but still won 36% of the vote — not a bad showing for a politician championing mass imprisonment of her political enemies.
The question, though, is whether House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, or Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or anyone at Pod Save America or the Bulwark would have uttered a word in protest, had Galindo already won her primary before making those comments.
All the evidence strongly suggests no.
And by evidence, I mean their explicit support for slightly less offensive cranks, extremists, bigots and terrorism apologists like new party power broker Hasan Piker, or the socialist Hezbollah fan Abdul el Sayed in Michigan, or the Hamas apologist Chris Rabb in Pennsylvania — a guy who suggested the massacre of Jews at Bondi Beach was a “false flag” operation by “Zionists.”
Imagine telling someone 20 years ago that a leading House candidate in a New Jersey district right outside New York City had both volunteered for an al Qaeda front in Europe and spent years being friends with “Blind Sheik” Omar Abdel-Rahman, the longtime jihadi preacher who was sentenced for seditious conspiracy after planning a “day of terror” in 1993.
Adam Hamawy defended Abdel-Rahman during his trial — and yet not a single notable Democrat has called him out on it.
Many of the same Democrats who expect Republicans to wring their hands over Republican Texas senatorial candidate Ken Paxton, a man tainted by corruption, have offered full-throated endorsement of a man who knowingly got and kept a Totenkopf SS Nazi tattoo for 20 years.
It’s not just Graham Platner’s mentally unstable ravings — including saying a Purple Heart recipient didn’t “deserve to live,” or that “all cops are bastards,” or that white rural Americans were “racist and stupid,” or that the Virgin Mary was a “skank,” or defending child killers of Hamas, or contending that sexual assault victims bring it on themselves.
It’s that he still uses unhinged Marxist language right now.
Platner isn’t the first skeeze to run for major office, but he might be the most extreme.
Only two elected Democrats, as far as I can tell, have spoken out about Platner’s soft spot for Nazis.
One is Sen. John Fetterman, who is under relentless attack from his own party for supporting Israel over Islamists; the other is Massachusetts Rep. Jake Auchincloss.
Now, if Platner’s opponent in Maine was a raging, corrupt ideologue, independents might be torn between two dangerous candidates.
But the Republican in Maine is incumbent Sen. Susan Collins, perhaps the most milquetoast centrist member of the entire chamber.
Some Democrats rationalize their support for a self-described “communist” by noting that control of the Senate is far more important than worrying about the individual ravings of unhinged candidates.
Though gutless establishment Democrats did virtually do nothing to counter extremists during the primaries, there’s a utilitarian logic to this thinking.
But anyone espousing it is in no position to lecture Republicans about Paxton — or anyone else, for that matter.
The 2026 elections will be held during the second term of an unpopular presidency, so there’s no telling how many Democrats will win.
Or perhaps the new reality is that pro-Islamist Marxists are now an influential part of the contemporary Democratic Party.
How popular such a party will be nationally moving forward is yet to be seen.
I am constantly being assured that Democrats are the adults in the room.
I’m supposed to believe that self-styled socialists are not only going to uphold norms, decency and democratic institutions but also improve the economic conditions of Americans.
That contention clashes with every shred of historical evidence we possess.
Democrats had a chance to be normal.
They’ve chosen crazy.
