BBC presenter Gary Lineker refers to the October 7th attack on Israel where 1,200 lost their lives as “the Hamas thing.”
“We all know October 7th happened and you know, the Hamas thing.”
I shouldn’t care about #Eurovision
Yes, it’s a nice tradition, I was a huge fan in the 80ies, but we are in the middle of a war. Israeli hostages are being raped and murdered, the north of Israel is burnt and empty. Who cares about a song contests?
But it’s not just a song contest is it?
If it were a song contests the singer would not face death threats.
Privileged people would not hog public broadcasting airtime in Belgium to push forward their agenda.
Do you know why Israel is first on the betting odds table?
It’s not just because the song is spectacular (which it is). It is a vote of Europeans who are fed up. Fed up of privileged gatekeepers hogging the media blocking anyone who doesn’t agree with them, fed up of violent demonstrations praising Hamas in the campuses and streets, fed up of politicians using this conflict to avoid talking about their own failures in domestic politics.
Tonight, from Europe and all over the world, vote #6. Vote for Eden.
