as much as it pains me to say, it’s probably for the best Bioware got shut down. I remember playing Mass Effect for the first time almost 20 years ago (ough ough) and falling in love with it and getting lost for so many hours in the gameplay. from the fun little arguments on which shep was best and who was the best romance option (correct answer is jack btw) to replaying the game a million times to get all dialogue options, i couldn’t have asked for a more better game. but in all honesty, Bioware died after Mass Effect 3 and the husk that it turned into was bound to fall at some point. i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, kept saying “just give them one more chance” but after the dog shit that was Veilguard, i knew that Bioware was just living off of borrowed time. it sucks it came this soon, because i was really excited for the new Mass Effect game. but Bioware’s last game being Veilguard just shows the legacy and hole they dug themselves into. but hey, least they “owned the chuds” right?

a part of me doesn’t want to eat it, but another part is screaming at me to at least try it.
