The Nakba should have never happened, but the only ethical solution at this point is replacing the apartheid system with a real democracy with equal rights for all. Similar to South Africa. The most that this additional context would tell us is that the break-in may have been a misunderstanding (if Platner didn't see the follow-up text), but it does not excuse the actual rape at all

If he also didn't see the follow-up text while driving, then it explains the break-in, but not the rape

@cakeboss26 @ostonox @ettingermentum I think it's more that the voters should have the power to pick his replacement. If that can't be done through a formal primary process but the person they voted for has the leverage to get them what they want, then that leverage should be used
