I've always loved it when organisations try to use colour to manipulate data and particularly the public's perception of that data.
Take today's WCs performance announcement. Before and after @Ofwat's version and mine after I'd applied a simple traffic lights system.

An update... yesterday these brave women were arrested and sadly the whaling vessels left the harbour to go out and hunt dozens of fin whales. It's so shameful that this continues in 2023.... @MFAIceland#stopwhaling@MC_org
Hospital scandal exposed as hundreds of Covid Nightingale beds sold for just £6
Millions of pounds lost..
Bought for £2,500, sold for £6
Yep...Tories...the party of zero responsibility and total financial profligacy (of our money)

Devastating news: commercial fin whaling to recommence tomorrow after Icelandic Government suspended this season’s hunt on welfare grounds
Whaling will take place under stricter regulations, but this isn't good enough. There's no humane way to kill a whale. This needs to end now
The "nutrient neutrality" rules are meant to safeguard our most sensitive rivers like the River Wye who's condition just weeks ago was downgraded to “unfavourable-declining”.
And as for more money? It's bloody money, eNOG's should refuse to have anything to do with it.
THEY LIED!
The last pretence that this govt gives a hoot about the environment finally blown asunder.
Greenest govt ever? Lie. Not lower enviro standards? Lie.
Leave rivers in a better state? Lie. All of it, lies.
NOTE: You cannot offset a dead river.

A river of boiling shit flows through your town. You haven’t seen a tomato for 18 months. MOTD is 3 minutes long and narrated by a parakeet. Your salary is paid directly to British Gas. You solve a riddle to speak to a GP. You feel people come here because they want an easy life
@SIBirdClub I've been loving the science and have learnt so much, so more like this would be great. I also like to see/hear some of the input from the SIBC members. Wildlife from all over the world is fascinating but I'd like the main focus to be UK, things that we might see.
