Canada has the hardest working people on the planet. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the country remains mired in a recessionary productivity slump given misguided government policies - in particular a focus on climate change and virtue signalling instead of concentrating on business-friendly policies to drive economic growth and enhance prosperity.

Given its entrepreneurial and hard-working citizenship, a combination of aggressive tax cuts and a massive reduction in regulatory burden could make it the world's most dynamic economy. Until then, sadly, the result is prosperity by decree and stagnation by design.
