Studying the colors of the royal kilt at the Edifice of #Taharqo has been a rewarding experience, revealing how artistic techniques- incised contours, layered pigments, and polychromy were in play to animate its folds and emphasize royal authority.

The restoration work is continuing in the Edifice of Taharqa at Karnak, with the support of @FondsKheops.
The team also welcomed Dr. Isabelle Regen (UPVM, ASM/ENiM @egyptologie) to study the Litanies of Ra 🌞 in this temple.
