Hey @nikitabier@elonmusk,
Feature request/idea for overall @X audio.
Independent volume controls/mixer for Spaces/live (prominent example as it cuts off the likes of a music player) or main app vs. background sources (Spotify, Audible, Apple Music, etc). It should be a simple addition due to many similar cases of prominent computer/windows/desktop audio mixers.
It would be especially great for audiobooks/lectures or while multitasking with aspects of X being used. Auto ducking would be a great addition whilst keeping the “time spent on app/user engagement” the same if not boosting it.
Here’s and example attached below 👇
Once we have completed our review for security vulnerabilities, we will make the entire codebase of 𝕏 open source, with no exceptions.
Moreover, we will invite third party reviewers to examine the system that is running to confirm that the open source code is what is running.
Trust through total transparency is the only thing that should be believed.
Fastest "partial" delivery on an Elon timeline?
At 8 AM he announced: After a full security review, the entire X codebase will be open sourced; no exceptions. By 5 PM the same day Grok build had already been open sourced.
Remember the $60 billion all-stock acquisition of Cursor in June 2026?
Making Cursor a wholly owned subsidiary of SpacexAi. This followed earlier partnerships, including xAI providing compute (Colossus) to Cursor and joint model training.
This is probably why a lot of founders look to get acquired by larger companies while making startups.
There’s getting a payout, but there’s also getting hired. The real change in life is when you’re the CEO having to hire people, not working for another person or company.
I can only imagine how many founders actually wanted to advance society with their products/technology/companies, but end up getting acquired; due to the fact legal complexities were too much of a headache and required vast resources that were not feasible in a growth state.
They told me it wasn't a censorial thing; they just don't want me to mess up again. They want me to learn everything I can about how lawyers and corporate law work so that I don't make the same mistake.
My mistake was that I interviewed someone building a new technology. He thought he had patented and protected it, which he had in America, but not worldwide. The rules are different globally, and neither of us knew that.
Once we put the video up in public, the lawyers went into a panic because public disclosure sets into motion all sorts of patent law issues around the world.
There's a reason Microsoft has 800 lawyers.
@elonmusk Bro could probably make a starship vape pen & people would buy it.
Like Elon smoking a J on Rogan, the rocket & space aspect is just memetic.
