First-person psychological sci-fi horror set inside a forgotten theatre beneath a drowned world. Demo on Next Fest + Kickstarter 8/26. Solo developer game.
When was the last time you went to the theatre?
House of Tides is a psychological sci-fi horror game set inside a forgotten theatre beneath a drowned world.
Iโm building it solo, and I need your help to make it real.
@CollinHarsin Sure!
Here is the campaign pre-launch page, which is a simplified version of the main one. Let me know if you would like to see the main campaign page as well.
Thanks!

1,000 Steam wishlists.
Getting here from 700 has been slow, one wishlist at a time. Iโm deeply grateful to everyone who saw something special in House of Tides.
Night Shift, a demo with its own story, comes in October with Steam Next Fest and the Kickstarter.
@CollinHarsin Thank you! Really appreciate that. And thanks for mentioning the text at the end, that is useful feedback. Iโll take it into account and make sure the Kickstarter and wishlist message is much clearer in the next version.
Thank you!
In my case, the most effective thing was building a trailer that could prove the gameโs story, visual direction and core mechanics. The game is already in development (very early though) and I had the script, but not enough of the full production to show yet because it depends on future funding.
I sent the trailer to media and creators. Only a couple of notable outlets picked it up, but IGN made the biggest difference and brought in 700+ wishlists in about six days.
Since then growth has slowed, so Iโm focused on the demo and on connecting organically with indie and horror audiences.
@RealMazaroth When IGN featured my trailer I reached ~700 wishlists in 6 days. I am really grateful for that, and since then growth has gone back to normal. It takes a real effort to keep pushing it up isnโt it? ๐๐ป
