Tonight is the first meeting of the Lewisham Housing Scrutiny Committee for the new administration, elected in May 2022. This Twitter account has been set up to make scrutiny more transparent and inclusive.

We also agreed with the recommendation to Mayor and Cabinet that residents be consulted about the possibility of bringing Lewisham Homes in house.

Last night we looked at the proposed Article 4 direction to require all HMO conversions to require planning permission and asked for more information on "exempt" properties.
