1) To provide a one-stop shop for everything secular 2) Secular political organizing, endorsements, and education. #separationofchurchandstate#interfaith
Just in time for #PrideMonth2026, Ken Paxton and the rest of Trump MAGA have picked the Texas #LGBTQ community as their culture war target for the midterm. Podcast: https://t.co/yAI17li0Ef https://t.co/89aICei5A5
Raphael Warnock and James Talarico, just to name two, regularly talk about God.
But Republicans think religion only counts if you're using it to bash immigrants, LGBTQ people, women's rights, etc.
Hey @ScottPresler, you shouldn’t have to deal with the hate coming from members of your party.
Feel free to join our movement to lower energy bills for Texans! 🏳️🌈🦅
One-party rule in Texas has been a disaster for working Texans. In November, we can vote for candidates like Progress Texas endorsee @SarahEckhardtTX to have leadership that puts people over profit.
If the Railroad Commission was doing the job of protecting Texans and our natural resources, then your Chairman wouldn't be in imminent danger of losing his primary.
I'd suggest the RRC focus more on protecting our Texas water and less on self-dealing Crypto schemes. #RRC
Y’all look. There are so many things happening in the state, the country, and the world, that races like these fly under the radar.
This is one of the MOST consequential races happening in Texas and it’s not even a blip. We have GOT to do better.
While the republican candidates are trading barbs over who is more “woke”?!? we have a real problem here in Texas with our energy infrastructure.
Jon is the first elected official I met when I decided to run for office, and he is the one that I have seen the most often since. The man is EVERYWHERE. Club meetings, rallies, school board meetings, community events, etc.
I learned when I met him 18 months ago that he gave up his lucrative career as an engineer in oil and gas to serve in the Texas State House for pennies. Because he cares about the state he calls home.
But he didn’t just run for office and check out. He checks in every single day. He’s been a state representative for 8 years and now he is running for a statewide job that he is honestly *over* qualified for and that is exactly why we need him in this role.
Ask him about orphaned wells. Not only does he have a rock solid plan to tackle orphan wells, but he will make you feel super invested in the fate of orphan wells. Which is incredibly important considering if you have made it this far, you have probably never heard the term “orphaned well.”
I was not asked, incentivized or encouraged to make this post. I write this as a voter in Texas who has been moved by someone who actually gives a shit in the world full of people who do not, in fact, give a shit.
Jon is THE person who you want fighting for you in this role. Support him here: https://t.co/K54hGE8TfX
Rep. Lauren Boebert weighs in on the government's release of UFO files, saying aliens are actually "fallen angels and Nephilim" from the Old Testament: "I do believe that this is more spiritual and, if you really want to go there, demonic."
Texas has grown by 5 million people and our grid is feeling the heat. To power our future and keep costs down, we need energy strategy, not political theater.
I’m a mechanical engineer running to bring technical competence back to the RRC. We are 31,676 votes away. Let’s get it.
Black Maternal Health Week is about Justice & Joy, but there is no justice in these numbers.
Harris County leads the nation in Black maternal mortality. Black mothers here die at over 3x the rate of white mothers. This is a preventable crisis that Austin continues to ignore.
We need more than awareness, we need direct action. I’m fighting for a plan that expands healthcare access and saves lives in HD 135. No more passive action.
@SaraForTexLege We have to keep reminding ourselves that this platform concentrates regressives. This nation as a whole, in the real world, rejects theocracy. We support anyone who works to support the Establishment Clause.
Corpus Christi is in a water emergency. Meanwhile, the RRC ignores thousands of wells leaking toxins into our groundwater.
Our systems are connected, we can’t treat water as an afterthought. It's time for technical accountability. Let's put a field technician on the RRC.
