@TrangerBookworm@Dr_Sinister187@Pirat_Nation They allowed my account to be compromised 3 times between 2017 and 2019, leading to hundreds of dollars of charges for Fortnite skins that I was thankfully able to get refunded. 2FA was enabled, but I never got a notification. Never giving them my card info again.
@NikandrosYT@93MANIAC@DramaAlert This camera angle is from a different building than the White House or any of its wings. I think a lot of people are aware of the location of the Oval Office having watched TV shows like the West Wing growing up or playing games like Modern Warfare 2. Younger people maybe not.
@chimchim1959@yumadbroskichil@uncledoomer A single patty burger with small fries and a small drink at the cheapest fast food location in my rural town starts at $8.73 before tax. The burger is $5.25, the fries are $1.69, and the drink is $1.79.
@GeococcyxCali@cjroper1973@darkfang1989@Pirat_Nation Not a legal duty, no. Doing only what is legally required is not an intelligent marketing strategy, especially for a developer who once used to have a publicly viewable task tracker for every step of their game's development.
@LiamFromOrlando@SnazzyLabs@derrickgott007@brandenflasch Has to be at least 3 price increases by now. It was just over $70 the last time I used Plex around 8 years ago and I've seen people post receipts on other posts showing that they paid over $100 in around 2021. Now it is $250 until the $750 jump comes.
@LiamFromOrlando@SnazzyLabs@derrickgott007@brandenflasch I'm not sure why they ever sold them to be honest. And the backlash is gonna be way worse when they eventually have to start locking features behind a subscription to get those license holders to start spending money again.
@MillerTimeDog@troy0h1@the_ashichi@derrickgott007 I have my Jellyfin server port forwarded and view it on my iPhone using Streamyfin for free. It was more work than Plex but it wasn't hundreds of dollars worth of my time.
