@Isildryn@hoIIowataraxia@EcoEclipse That is not "about right" the combat has far more weaving than 1 or 2 per minute. This comes off as someone who has not even played the game.
@calliberjoe@RestTarRr@IfritNova Yes it is. Ive played both sides. Ive literally spent 30k on a "f2p" Chinese mmo and it is horrific trying to keep up in power.
@somnumis@IfritNova As someone who has seen the dark side of video games and has soent over 30 thousand on a single game i cannot tell you how good it is to be back to 15 bucks a month.
@animeoutsiders I still think the story was fantastic and the voice acting was some of the best I've ever heard in a video game. Had a fantastic OST and boss fights were incredible set pieces. Game feel short on difficulty and boss complexity even though the combat did have genuine depth.
@FerdiBacon@animeoutsiders Combat actually has some complexity to it. Spent dozens of hours creating optimal damage rotations and burst windows. The issue isnt the combat it is the lack of difficulty in the bosses that make you never need to dig deeper into the combat
@AZocuso@IfritNova Its insane. I saw multiple people say in this thread theyd rather play a f2p fame woth battlepasses like bruhhh this is why we have the f2p p2w slopp
@RestTarRr@IfritNova What do you even mean by this? Subscription based model is the best model for mmos. It allows for dense content not this f2p slop p2w garbage we have now everywhere.
@ArkaArka@IfritNova ARR is not the story. It is part 1 of a 10 year array of expansions that continues the the story. ARR is not great but after that it is peak.
@2004volvov50@IfritNova Do not go down this rabbit hole. You DO NOT WANT THIS. sub mmos are so far superior to f2p slop where you can pay to win and there are battle passes.
@ElkenrodKarmic@IfritNova I have seen the true dark side of gaming. People including myself putting in 30 thousand dollars plus into a Chinese mmo to remain relevant in power and then those same people hate the idea of 15 dollars a month...
