@SirJBritain One thing to welcome foreigners / genuine refugees… it’s quite another to grant access to power and law making to someone whose religious and cultural values are not aligned with UK. We have been a Judeo-Christian culture for 1500 years. We didn’t vote for mass immigration
@max_redington@KemiBadenoch The issue is about incentive to work beyond £100K, or people will cut hours and activity. It is economic self harm by government if the wealthy start reducing hours… this reduces tax take and reduces economic activity, which harms us all. We have got to stop politics of envy.
@Badie912 Been following Jordi and Pomp, every week for the past 18 months. Things are getting v exciting with AI, tokenisation and stablecoins, and the next 12 months are going to be awesome.
@NicholasLissack But remember Starmer and Labour government refusing to support President Trump in attacks on Iran, as not UK’s conflict! We look like arch appeasers now.
@jonsopel You didn’t complete the sentence…. He finished by saying he wants his war fighters to be warriors. Isn’t that the only criteria for those who put themselves in harm’s way, for your benefit, and for mine? Instead, you try and criticise his robust language. I used to admire you
@BrandonFalco121 You missed the bit where he then said, ‘we want warriors.’ Warfighting requires courage, brutality and aggression. You might think his language strong, but he’s not trying to win empathy competitions, rather he’s trying to motivate troops and deter enemies.
@cmsinvests Because money printing and inflation, debases the currency at about 11% per year. Therefore at 5.6%, you are losing money. Bonds have been a terrible investment for the past decade.
@donmcgowan What is your reaction to the murder of Anne Widdecombe, almost certainly by a left extremist? Isn’t Nigel right to challenge the government? Imagine if Gordon Brown or Harriet Harman had been killed? You and you ilk, would be calling for much more radical steps than NF
@RachelD1892 Good presentation but lacking in substance. No attempt to tackle UK’s main problems (huge taxes, debt, welfare, defence), but instead falls back on sentimentalism and promises radical change in 2030. Have we got this long to sort out the state of the nation?
@LizWebsterSBF Britain outside the EU, has grown more than Germany, France and Italy. @afneil has covered this extensively this week. Why would we rejoin a declining economic bloc?
@francessmith The Ministry of Truth, directly promoting Group Think. Orwell would be proud of AB’s Labour government. But do they remember what happened to Winston Smith?
