@JimOhSoSpurs@OhSoSpurs If the fate of either club ends up being down to a last minute VAR call I will be convinced more than ever that there are dark forces in play between the tv broadcasters, the PL and the PGMOL.
TV demands drama.
Drama feeds ratings.
Ratings leads to revenue.
I hope I'm wrong.
@JimOhSoSpurs@OhSoSpurs Their fans will be insufferable whether they win the league or if we go down. On balance I'd rather suffer them with us still in the PL.
Confused as to why politicians say, on another attempted arson attack on a Jewish building, “these terrorists are trying to divide us - and will not succeed etc etc.” Are they? I’d say that diviseness is not the object. I’d say it’s trying to kill Jews.
@_PaulHayward This is the natural progression - sadly - from cup finals at Wembley for example pumping out music instead of the sounds of supporters chanting as once upon a time.
This obsession with 'creating atmosphere' is doing the opposite.
White ball cricket, the same.
57 years ago today the journey began.
Since then - a few cups and finals. Relegation and promotion.
Greaves, Gilzean, Chivers, Hoddle, Waddle, Ardiles, Gascoigne, Ginola, Klinsmann, Modric, Bale, Kane plus...
What next? Who knows, but the journey will continue come what may.
@kevhillsy Went to every home game that season with my dad, buying tickets in advance or at the turnstile.
On the back of that applied for our season tickets and got confirmation of our successful application the same day we signed Ossie and Ricky. Good timing!
I'm not Jewish. I don't have any Jewish friends (that I know of) but I am DISGUSTED by the demonisation & bullying of Jews that's been happening the last two plus years (& more, unbeknownst to me) & even MORE disgusted that some of the bullies are people I called friends.
@pablocords Vast majority of conceded goals from open play come through his channel.
Among many weak links he is the weakest. All very well being a good passer of the ball but first priority of a RB is to defend. He can't.
Was the same last season but neither Ange nor Frank saw/sees it.
@danielwynne_ Always felt he didn't get full recognition for his contribution to Spurs. No doubt his hey day was at Leeds but he was an effective midfield minder to Ghod, Ardiles and Villa. Another sad loss so soon after Big Chiv.
