Our volunteer crew were involved in a multi-agency rescue of a family whose boat ended up on rocks at Lambay island today.

@IrishCoastGuard helicopter Rescue 116 winched all six people to safety.

Watch the moment @howthrnli lifeboat crew rescue a yacht being blown offshore.

When the crew of the yacht realised they were unable to make their way back, they did the right thing and called for help. Our crew was able to take the yacht under tow to the harbour.
