@gonecryptic@NickPapacon It actually can’t. No traditional blockchain can run apps like uber, or any app in the first place. However, you could build the whole app on web 2 and use #Algorand to interact with a token, thats how all “dapps” are built anyway.
@MasonVersluis Agreed. Being the only blockchain in existance that can actually run dapps within smart contracts & doesnt need web 2, can directly ingrate with BTC & ETH and directly communicate with web 2 is not enough.
It needs more paid & meaningless partnerships to succeed.
@Billiam_algo Other blockchain ecosystems: dapps running on web 2 like every other site, utilizing blockchain to interact with tokens.
#ICP : The only full stack blockchain that can actually run the whole dapp within smartcontracts.
This is what the stack looks like for most dapps. Not very decentralized.
⚠️ Problems:
- Only database (BTC, ETH, BTC, ...) is decentralized (for a small amount of data)
- User can't verify how request is processed
- Too many platforms - insecure communication across stack
@martyluko If you see it all over your feed then you probably know by now that #ICP is the only blockchain in existence that can actually run full dapps within smart contracts. All other ecosystems build their dapps on web 2 and only use blockchain to sometimes interact with tokens.
@ImTheDebate All other ecosystems are promoting false narratives. Other blockchains can not be used to build full dapps, but rather to interact with tokens and create money.
@ImTheDebate Cant be compared to other chains as it is the only blockchain in existence that can actually run full dapps within smart contracts. Other blockchains can mostly just compete on speed, fees and scalability but $icp crushes them on these metrics as well.
.@dfinity is bringing layer-2 capabilities to Bitcoin, making it faster and cheaper to transact without compromising security. By @shauryamalwa.

@OgMedalist Then probablythe specific comment got falsely flagged as spam. Try to add less open lines (enter) and no links. Might help in the future on another video. Next comments on that video might not show up again due to repeated posting.
@OgMedalist I have no idea. Try posting a common comment such as “cool video” on another video. If that stays there you are probably not hidden as user. If that still doesnt work out then either dfinity has hidden comments from ur profile (if even possible) or ur whole account is flagged
@OgMedalist Its just the algorithm. Might be that longer comments with multiple paragraphs tend to get flagged faster (in my perosnal experience). I’ve had times that my comments were deleted seconds after I posted it, especially when I reposted a comment that was hidden.
