Unfortunately, this was my sentiment after this year's Reindustrialize conference.

Last year at the pre conference party event I met a bunch of people doing stuff like die casting and injection mold tooling; using software to make better parts.

This year it was 50 guys making drones, surveillance equipment, and AI algorithms to make all of that stuff better at... locating and tracking people, mostly.

You can see where all the investment capital is going.

A lot of people who looked way too manicured to be in manufacturing. I could pick out the guys who actually owned a machine shop from 50 feet away.

Different kinds of money bring in different kinds of motivations, and therefore, different crowds of people.

Less than 1% of grand juries "decline to indict" when presented with a case but that's exactly what happened when tyrants in Ohio attempted to indict Cody Morelock on multiple felony charges after he was accused of removing a Flock camera near his home.

There was reportedly video evidence in the case yet they still refused to indict him and charges were dismissed 🇺🇸

On this day in 1992 the US Marshals, FBI, and ATF began their siege on the American family living atop Ruby Ridge.

Armed men from the government in ghillie suits shot Randy Weaver's 14 year old son in the back, shot his wife in the face when she was holding her baby, shot Randy in the shoulder while he was checking on his son who had just been shot, and shot his friend Kevin as well. They also shot and killed his dog.

All of this occurred following a federal agent entrapping Randy to modify a shotgun in a way the State didn't like.

There is no law too small that the government isn't willing to kill you to enforce. Not one.
