Trump’s just-released national security strategy declares it a “core interest” of the U.S. to “negotiate an expeditious cessation of hostilities in Ukraine” and to “reestablish strategic stability with Russia.”

Two elements stand out — on Europe and India.

First, the report’s withering criticism of European leaders. It says they “hold unrealistic expectations for the [Ukraine] war” while “perched in unstable minority governments, many of which trample on basic principles of democracy to suppress opposition.” It’s an unusually blunt indictment of America’s traditional allies.

Second, compared with Trump’s 2017 national security strategy, the new document noticeably downgrades India’s strategic salience. The 2017 report accorded India pride of place in Washington’s Indo-Pacific strategy and declared, “We welcome India’s emergence as a leading global power and stronger strategic and defense partner.”

By contrast, the latest strategy confines itself to saying the U.S. “must continue to improve commercial (and other) relations with India to encourage New Delhi to contribute to Indo-Pacific security," including through the "Quad." (The Quad receives only this single, passing mention in the entire document.)

Equally striking is what the report omits. Unlike the 2017 strategy, the new document contains no critical references to Pakistan. The earlier strategy had been explicit: “We will press Pakistan to intensify its counterterrorism efforts, since no partnership can survive a country’s support for militants and terrorists who target a partner’s own service members and officials. The United States will also encourage Pakistan to continue demonstrating that it is a responsible steward of its nuclear assets.”

Today I saw the movie "120 Bahadur".

The first scene of the movie is fantastic. It read "Special thanks to Additional Directorate General Strategic Communication, Indian Army".

The movie is very well-made and is a must see for every Indian citizen. It should be made compulsory viewing in every term of the training academies of the Indian Armed Forces, like the movie "Vijeta" was during my NDA days.

This video is from Sirsi village in Harnaut, the home turf of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. It clearly shows the road quality is 0%. How can such blatant corruption happen in Nalanda district, that too right under the CM’s nose?
The condition is so bad that just half an inch of tar has been laid directly over loose soil. Strict and exemplary action must be taken against the contractor and the responsible engineers.
