In 2019, Notre-Dame burned down, and Hammersmith Bridge was shut to cars due to cracks. Today, Notre-Dame reopens, even more glorious than before. Meanwhile, Hammersmith Bridge remains shut to cars and will be for at least another 5yrs. What a pathetic testament to Britain’s decaying state.
