My child's father and our sole wife earner passed away on May 8th. I have been trying since then to get our son's social security benefits. Apparently the local office is too busy and I am unable to travel to the next closest office, over a hour away.

@telzo5000 @Columbia1938 Actually I managed to get everything sorted but I can understand why you're frustrated with them! Have you reached out to customer service? Another option would be to call your bank and see about doing a charge back. You should still be within the timeframe.
