@Leonajardinho It’s time to break out of this system. I guarantee you would pay less if you had no insurance. You would negotiate a lower rate than the insurance company would!
Them: "Why are you paying $200/month for health insurance if you still have a $6,000 deductible?"
Me: "So the hospital doesn't bill me $80,000 for a 20-minute ER visit."
Them: "So insurance pays for your care?"
Me: "No. I pay 100% of the bill until I hit the $6,000."
Them: "Then what are you paying $200 a month for?"
Me: "I'm paying $2,400 a year just to access the insurance company’s negotiated discount rate so the hospital doesn't charge me fake, marked-up sticker prices."
Them: ...
Me: You aren't paying for healthcare coverage. You're paying protection money to a middleman just so the system doesn't bankrupt you for a basic blood test.
Blows my mind that 100% of Alberta is not yet on board with independence. Y'all are literally the only folks with an option to escape Canada (A MASSIVE WIN)
...but also become filthy rich for doing so?
It's a no brainer.
Do not squander this opportunity Alberta, just #WEXIT
@SubduedRadical@westsj60@dandinohill Maybe for certain people that are combat veterans, but most people in the military are fat and lazy and don’t deserve it
@jsolomonReports Don’t click on this bait. U will be overwhelmed with ads. It is James Braid, White House Legislative affairs guy. No mention of reason why he is leaving
