I commute by train at unusual hours. NJ Transit is an embarrassment to this state. I’m a passenger advocate who expects better from NJT. A higher standard.
I love how I raise the issue of a @NJTRANSIT passenger playing videos on out loud on his phone in the Quiet Car to a conductor and he does nothing about it, and does zero enforcement of the policy. It’s not the passengers’ job to confront people. #NJTransit
And of course the #njtransit 11:57 train after the cancelled one was late to board and late to depart. It’s also miserably crowded in single-level cars. Not sure why they use smaller capacity trains on these late Saturday nights. Always miserable
.@NJTRANSIT you’ve seriously got to stop cancelling weekend trains. “Crew availability” is an embarrassing excuse. How can anyone plan a visit to the city with unstable reliability like this? Let alone a work commute #njtransit
Hey @NJTRANSIT please announce in advance when a train like 3363 is going to leave a scheduled 5 minutes later to accommodate a cancelled train. This affects passengers making a connection at SEC & Newark!! #njtransit
@TooMader@NJTRANSIT_NEC You just never know when the equipment is unable to show up!! Right? It’s one of those problems like the weather of the northeast that’s just completely out of their hands
Another heavy travel holiday/ tourism day with dangerously packed trains and NJ Transit will never, never add extra service. Extra service for Meadowlands events… but holiday travel in and out of New York?? That’s ridiculous!
Once again #njtransit not opening the full train on a holiday season weekend. NEC inbound train completely packed with people by Secaucus and a whole available car closed off in the back
Traveling on #njtransit is never not miserable. Completely stuffed 7801, a 12:14 AM Trenton local got to leave 16 minutes late thanks to single tracking. All the outbound late night trains are always stuffed on weekends, and of course it’s single-level equipment
Hey @NJTRANSIT This is unacceptable. People depend on schedules. You cancel so many trains it’s laughable. Considering how much you keep raising fares this is a fucking embarrassment #njtransit
#njtransit OPEN THE FULL TRAIN WHEN IT’S CROWDED. What are you accomplishing by leaving the last car locked up until there’s a crowded bursting at the back of the train??
Once again @NJTRANSIT is causing unnecessary hazards by not opening more cars on a busy, packed weekend train. Front of 7801 (12:14 to Trenton) has people standing in aisles & sitting on steps. Doesn’t need to be like this!
Hey @NJTRANSIT why on this earth would you not open the full train on a late Friday night Trenton local with single-level equipment? It’s like you actively want to create discomfort and hazards
Thanks to #njtransit having mechanical issues and canceling 7838, today I got to incur the extra expenses of Turnpike tolls, gas, JSQ garage, & PATH fares so I could get to work on time. All while having a NJT monthly pass. Terrible as usual
Remember, #njtransit rail passengers, you absolutely must sit in the very first available seat that you see! Don’t get any crazy ideas like walking further down the car or even to another car! If there’s no seat right where you enter, you must stand!
