Our community owned shop relies on willing volunteers to open 7 days a week. Younger volunteers on a DOE scheme are offered a chance to volunteer alongside an experienced volunteer. Compulsory volunteering won’t work nationally. #CommunityEngagement

Our new improved community shop and post office feels huge now we have windows, door and ceiling. Lots still to do inside and out but we should be ready to move out of our 37sqm into 85sqm at the end of next month #volunteers #community
