@FreddieTheOsFan He's looked like his release point is much more consistent and over the top. Small sample but I've always had issue with how inconsistent his release point was. He may have cleaned it up. What a cannon!
@EdOverRay@apulianas@All_22_NFL_Cuts There wasn't much the last coaching staff did that made sense, especially on defense and the OL. And nobody can say it's Monday morning QBing. Tons of us were calling it out in real time. You didn't have to study film to notice a lot of it.
I think this went all the way up to being Harbs' philosophy too.
We had athletic freaks like Oweh & Green, a savvy rusher like KVN and were asking them to cage/contain rush. Even vs Flacco in Week 2. Maddening. Talked a lot about it on my channel. @apulianas@All_22_NFL_Cuts
Damn Mike green had to tell the truth about Zach Orr. I really wish the best for my black Bruva but Yeaa he was ass, I thought he was just bad for DBs and LBs ๐ญ๐ญ
This is part of the reason why I'm getting damn near cocky about how good this defense can be. The talent is there. We had talent last year but Hendrickson takes it to another level. But the biggest difference is the scheme and philosophy of the scheme. The Chargers made plays.
@HalotiMatata@devpanchwagh Hesitated to post this here. Didn't want to sound negative but wanted to give my honest thoughts. There were good reasons I had guys like Lane ahead of Elijah in the draft. Rooting for him. If he can be a Jauan Jennings or Allen Lazard type it would be a huge win, great pick.
@HalotiMatata@devpanchwagh There are things I really like about him. He has some NFL qualities; feel for the game and quick feet among them. But admittedly I'm not nearly as high on him as some. Looked at his targets last show. Starts at about 43:30.https://t.co/L1aUpKnAlq
@4thdowntakes@devpanchwagh@apulianas Yes! We also hired longtime NFL Coach, Joe Lombardi, as Senior Offensive Assistant. He's a Sean Payton guy and likely someone that Doyle trusts a lot.
@HuddleItUpFilms I get the view advantage of being in the booth, but man i want him on the field. If offense is slumping I need him down there speaking violence into these guys. Cant do that in the booth
He could also look at the tablet with Lamar. Call a quick meeting with the offense while Minter's calling defensive plays. Tons of advantages to being on the sidelines.
Doyle's very aware of the advantages of both. He'd love to be on the field with the guys but acknowledged the "controlled environment" and visibilty from the booth.
I'm just glad he'll experiment with both to see what works best for him. Open-minded. Knows what he doesn't know.
@brianwacker1 This is great and all but how good of a Dad will he be when it comes to talking to them about the birds and the bees.๐"When two people love each other..."
Haha Congrats Snoop!!!
@theNFLchick A lot of 9ers fans around here too after the team went to Indy. Watch, we'll be seeing the KC bandwagoners in the league next decade haha.
