@AllieSpillyards@NBCDFW@ScottNBC5 Then they should take some new neighborhoods down first to make availability and then bring the ones up that had been off for so long.
@AllieSpillyards@NBCDFW@ScottNBC5 Explain why the term “controlled outage” wasn’t used until Monday afternoon when they knew all along they were going to take certain areas down for an undetermined amount of time. Why didn’t they inform the public last week? The forecast hasn’t changed.
@ERCOT_ISO Too vague. Just a hope and a prayer. Please give the scheduled return so we at least know who should be hopeful and who still isn’t on the list to even possibly maybe have power back. @ERCOT_ISO needs to HELP people plan!
Is it acceptable that it has been 5 hours since the last update from @oncor? With over a million people without power, @oncor needs to do a better job keeping us informed.
@KRLD Did @KRLD ask @oncor why they didn’t start talking about rolling outages until late Sunday when this has been in the forecast for over a week? No mention to expect “controlled” outages until Monday afternoon after they were already happening. Appears they are not forthcoming.
@cooktx@BrianNewCBS @CBSDFW @oncor@CityOfArlington@ArlingtonPD@ChiefArlington@ArlingtonTxFire This is something @oncor should have released DAYS ago not just when asked today. It would have helped people prepare. Being without power for almost 24 hours now, and reading that certain areas were already DESIGNATED to be out - would have been nice to know ahead of time!
@oncor observation: just 20 hours ago all references were to “rotating” outages. (No mention before then). Just 7 hours ago the term “controlled outages” began being used. Yet @oncor says now to “be prepared” for long term outages.
