The picture of the abducted father, Chaim, hangs on the door. His empty chair and the expression on Lior's face - the expression of a son who is still here, waiting.
Chaim Peri, an 80-year-old from Nir Oz, was abducted to Gaza by Hamas terrorists on 7.10.
Chaim is suffering from heart disease and is not receiving his medication.
Noam Peri and Sharon Dari's special project pays tribute to several families whose loved ones are held hostage by Hamas since October 7th.
Sharon understood the impact of those two images and decided to initiate a series of restored photos from hostages' family albums, to emphasize the urgency of elderly hostages' release. Testimonies of returning hostages refer to the deteriorating medical conditions of the elderly still held in Gaza. Sharon teamed with The Hostages and Missing Family Forum and collaborated with Michal Chitayat who photographed the families – the ones who are here, the ones who were released, and mainly, the ones who are still held in captivity.
We will not stop until they are all back.
