@MuseZack I first encountered Stephen Hunter in his review of The Last Samurai, a movie I enjoyed. His criticism of the anti-modernity message of the movie was so compelling that I took note of him.
I heard something similar in the Robert Wright/Paul Bloom podcast. Paul asked Wright if he thinks gene editing should be allowed if only rich people could afford it at first. Wright's answer was it depends on how long it took to become available for everyone. So if an incredibly beneficial technology took too long to become available to poor people, he'd rather they never get access to it.

It's also not a likely place for a home run to hit. Probably need an above 40 degree launch angle for any ball to have a chance to hit it. Very few home runs are hit with that launch angle. This ball had a 46 degree launch angle.
