The International Solar Alliance (ISA) interacted with the Permanent Representatives to the United Nations from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Greece, Guyana, Liberia, Timor-Leste, Trinidad & Tobago, Tuvalu, and Zimbabwe at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan as part of a tour organised by the UN Division of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The ISA delegation, led by Felipe Saliba, briefed the representatives on ISA’s programmes and initiatives across its regions, highlighting how the Alliance is supporting Member Countries in expanding solar deployment, strengthening energy resilience, and advancing investment-ready solar projects.
This was followed by presentations from ISA’s Regional Programme Specialists, outlining pathways for collaboration, ranging from building investment pipelines to delivering solar solutions for climate-vulnerable regions. The session concluded with an interactive discussion with the Permanent Representatives.
The interaction provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on expanding solar partnerships with ISA Member Countries and strengthening collaboration through the Alliance’s regional programmes and implementation initiatives.
