Yesterday, I joined my colleague, His Excellency High Commissioner Kevin Issac, in London for the 43rd Independence Anniversary celebration of St. Kitts and Nevis, bringing together around 200 Kittitians and Nevisians from across the UK. The celebration highlighted the enduring bond between the nation and its diaspora.
It was wonderful to see our Kittitians and Nevisians come together to celebrate their country, their heritage, and their shared responsibility to build a stronger future.
Earlier in the day, I also joined nationals at Westminster Abbey in prayer for the people and Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Happy 43rd Independence to St. Kitts and Nevis.
Thank you Honourable Minister for your kind wishes. We greatly value the close and longstanding cooperation between our two countries and look forward to continuing to strengthen our friendship and partnership. ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ณ

Today, I met with leading European energy companies, financiers, and private sector partners to explore opportunities that can help accelerate our geothermal energy ambitions and strengthen our journey toward energy independence.
We are building relationships that can unlock new opportunities, lower energy costs, create jobs, and position our Federation as a leader in sustainable energy for generations to come.
I had a productive discussion with Mr Salvador Pinto da Franรงa, Adviser for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean in the Cabinet of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
We spoke about strengthening the partnership between St. Kitts and Nevis, CARICOM and the European Union, advancing sustainable development, expanding economic opportunities, and ensuring that small island states like ours continue to have a strong voice on the global stage.
These conversations matter. They help open doors for investment, deepen cooperation, and create new opportunities for our people as we continue building a stronger, more resilient future.
