I get question on Knees over Toes (ATG). Going to share my journey w/ trying dozens of strength programs over 30-yrs- Stayed healthy w/ positive results. Then tried ATG- did a disciplined 8-wk progression- had 4mos of severe knee pain- It's not for everyone! More coming soon...
โthey finally caught lightning in a bottleโ
after 6 straight years of first round exits and 19 years without success, the toronto maple leafs are off to the second round :,)
Lack of progress in the gym?
Consider a few things:
-What foods are you consuming and how much?
-How often and intense are you training?
-What does your lifestyle look like outside of the gym?
If your actions don't align with your goals, it's an issue you need to address.
January 1 neednโt be โjust another dayโ. Our brain can segment time in many ways. Only some are constrained by biology. Designating a calendar date as a starting place to achieve behavioral and/or psychological change is entirely legitimate. If you want a change, set it & get it.
Take Control of Your Health in 2023:
1) Strength train consistently 4 times a week.
2) Walk daily, movement and sunlight will boost your mood.
3) Protein and produce at every meal, a simple guideline for eating well.
4) Recovery, 7-9 hr a night of sleep to feel your best.
Working on your health often gets way over complicated.
You donโt need detoxes or magic pills to feel better.
Get consistent with the basics before claiming your body is broken.
-sleep 7-8hrs a night
-strength training
-walking daily
-consuming whole foods
-drinking water
