📷Atlanta City Council President @MarciOverstreet shares how the City of Atlanta’s expanded free Wi-Fi in Downtown Atlanta will help close the digital divide. The progress was supported by the Atlanta City Council which passed legislation to enter into the partnership that made this possible while funding more than $260,000 to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure
When partners invest, their impact goes far beyond what can be measured! Ribbon cuttings for three newly renovated Hank Aaron Diamond softball fields were held in partnership with the Atlanta Braves Foundation at North Atlanta High School, Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy, and Booker T. Washington High School.
These incredible investments in our student-athletes will create opportunities for generations to come. Moments like these last forever, and it was an honor to celebrate the future of softball across Atlanta Public Schools. 🥎💙 #APSStrong #HankAaronDiamonds #AtlantaBravesFoundation #StudentAthletes
