@kushanmitra If they aren't arbitrary how do the babudom justify their job and incompetence...???๐๐คข I would trust a Pakistani before I trust a babu. And that's a statement about the respect they have earned over the years.
@LtGenDPPandey I would appreciate pandits and granthis coming out on the streets and protesting to raise the issue. Or have they all reduced Dharm to lighting a dia...???
@LtGenDPPandey This is a crime against humanity committed by one community against another. The victim community can no longer deny that they didn't know, and the perpetrator community can no longer deny that they didn't know.
@RajanAnandan The stupidest thing the babudom did in the past 10yrs was banning crypto and making mining unfeasible. We could have had a thriving GPU and datacenter ecosystem and cash that could now be pushed into AI. Adoption would be way easier. But arresting founders is the babudom way.
@RajanAnandan Try doing this in India and the babudom will first be clueless and then ask for age certificate and tons of other paperwork and human identity docs. Unless babudom isn't taken care off India's true potential will never be realised.
@neerajKh_ Instead of selling Claude to its customers. IT could fund and help build out competitors that they could offer to their customers at a much lower cost. But that would require real long term vision.
@HarveenChadha We need to start building out own figma, autocad and other tools asap. LLMs on top of them will be the real game changer. Imagine redesigning 50yr old manufacturing machines in a week's time. AI will be able to cut a lot of cost not just in design time but other places aswell.
The curse of the babudom strikes again. While they amass unheard of wealth they suck out the soul of honest citizens while acting as termites to the fabric of this nation. And sadly the best that can be done is to transfer them to torment another group. @narendramodi hai himmat?
I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here.
Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual.
We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players.
There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one.
We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa.
We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage.
In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach.
We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world.
And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee.
For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us.
We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court.
All we are asking for is a fair treatment.
I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them.
The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment.
From where I am standing today, it does.
I am not giving up. I have worked too hard for this. If you have read this far, please share it. If you know someone who can help, point them my way. Help me get the word out.
@AvoiceofBihar It's babus, they fall back to protect themselves and preserve their fiefdom and continue to be incompetent is to ban things. We the people need better and more efficient mechanisms to deal with the scourge of humanity i.e. the babudom. Let's start with refusing pension.
@SohamViii@nirwamehta I know but do the idiots crying about others eating it know? The one's doing moral policing... But then again most of them aren't educated, well travelled or even well informed so can't really expect that from them.
