District Administration Lasbela, including all LEAs & other stake holders, is honoured to have facilitated the spiritual journey of Hindu devotees attending the Hinglaj Mata Mela-2026, one of the major four-day Hindu pilgrimages in the region.
The Government of Balochistan provided essential ration supplies, clean drinking water, and ensured comprehensive security arrangements for the Hindu community throughout the event.

On the special directives of the Government of Balochistan, the District Administration Lasbela launched a landmark initiative titled “Investing in the Future: Women Empowerment,” under which several umbrella projects have been successfully completed.
As part of this initiative, the ‘Banok Hunarkar Centre’ was established and formally inaugurated on 3rd December 2025 in Uthal, District Lasbela in collaboration with C&W & PCG. The centre will promote entrepreneurship by empowering women through skill development in traditional local embroidery and handicrafts, enabling them to generate sustainable livelihoods.
