And you’ve played a critical role hand in hand with former Trump administration bureaucrats (that now work for @ailanational) in keeping those options limited for the benefit of your membership. #eagleact This retweet is tone deaf at best and gaslighting at worst.
@TrevorVossberg@_Chroma_@AlecStapp In US, There is a discriminatory cap on birth country in employment based greencard system. This results 150 years backlog for high skilled people only from india. #EagleAct
Hello, longer days to come!
It's the #WinterSolstice -- the shortest day -- in the Northern Hemisphere. Earth spins around a tilted axis, making a complete turn each day. Solstices happen twice per year, at times when this tilt is most pronounced.

Indians considering a move to the US MUST educate themselves about the serious immigration issues in America. The US is no longer a welcoming place for Indians. Better countries exist in the world where Indians are not blatantly discriminated against in immigration.
Garion’s brother Kelsey was also forced to self deport three years ago.
Their father, Kor, has owned and managed a dairy farm serving South Dakota and Minnesota for over two decades, without a path to citizenship.
The EAGLE act, which would've removed the 100+yr wait for the US green card for ~750k Indians, was pulled from the House floor this week.
Had it passed, ~5-15k laid off immigrant tech workers in the US would be able to stay instead of being forced out in 2mos!

It is a sign of the times that famously xenophobic towns are now welcoming immigrants in light of low birth rates, aging populations and changing attitudes of the young. The end is near for xenophobes and their organizations like FAIR, CIS & NumbersUSA. https://t.co/nAoHJQ2MZM

Right now, what the Indian American community needs to be doing is calling their Senators and asking for two things to be in the Omnibus appropriations bill: a green card recapture provision and protection for Documented Dreamers. They are the only two things that can pass.
I'm disappointed to see that Congress has still not passed the EAGLE Act.
I urge House leadership to bring it up for a vote before we adjourn this Congress to end arbitrary per-country green card caps and bring down our decades-long backlog for immigrants.
