#BREAKING "Don't waste our time," CJI Surya Kant on plea against police action on student protesters during #CJP march.
"We are not interested in videos, we don't have time to watch," CJI tells lawyer who said there are videos showing police atrocities.
@aryansss2718 They didn't have their nameplates on. That's same logic of robbers hiding their face so no one knows who did the robbery. I am not taking sides. Just saying that I cannot put my faith into the system anymore. What's stopping them from doing the same to me if I take a stand smday.
It's not about a paper leaks anymore. It has become about the people running the country thinking that other citizens can just be toyed with. And when they peacefully raise voice, can be beaten up. This thinking and these people... Both need to be changed.
@aryansss2718 Look all I know is the way the protest was replied to by the police was wrong and then they claim that the videos are fake ?! Atleast be responsible for what you have done. But they won't do it because they have done the wrong thing. They could have handled it better but didn't.
Feels even more sad to have them lie openly on platforms that run on the attention of the very youth that were IN FACT BEATEN UP by YOU TODAY and everywhere is filled with evidence. If I was a lawyer, would drag each one of you to the court and ask for an explanation.
There are various videos circulating on social media claiming incidents of stone pelting and police action today. These claims are false and misleading.
No such incident has taken place today.
Citizens are requested not to believe or share such videos and are advised to rely only on official sources for authentic information and updates.

I will make sure I vote the next time and put a NOTA vote so they know that atleast one person is pissed enough to not vote any party and try to bring an end to this madness which they call administration.
Imo, the way they treated peaceful protestors ( including women) of a very young age today. Assuming they had orders from above (govt), they have washed away all the good deed they did in the past 12 years. We need a reform NOW.
The police is being fueled by the taxes of our money. Is it that difficult for everyone to stop giving taxes and put this mad system to an end ? This is a last resort thought that has crossed my mind. Why? Because the police is a servant of the government. The government is -
Laathi and tear bombs.... There are very less options ( other than slapping them and then being shot for standing for the right conduct and future and having some expectations from the so called by,of,for the people). Let's just stop giving them the money to function. Let's -
@dpradhanbjp@RahulGandhi@INCIndia Don't try to make this about your opposition and call it a staged act of theirs. The youth is young, not stupid. Try saying this infront of the faces of those on the street for hours- You'll be met with genuine rage, you can't imagine.
@dpradhanbjp@RahulGandhi@INCIndia You and your team has all the time in the world to blame someone else but not 20 mins to come out of your cabin and talk to the very people who have put you up to that position?! YES YOU SHOULD RESIGN.
@dpradhanbjp@RahulGandhi@INCIndia It's not good to be so away from the reality. Your opposition doesn't lead the youth of India. Everyone who stood there came from their own will and for the reason to be heard. Only if you spoke to them you would have realised.
Pehle education minister resign karega. Phir poore department ko karna chahiye. Every policeman who held a laathi should be terminated. The govt is responsible and should be told to change their ways
People should snatch the LAATHIS and break them and throw the tear gas back and call it self defence if this is how the state machines react to a peaceful protest.
