🇷🇺 The Lena Bridge: The First Link in the Eurasian Land-Bridge Defies the Dying Anglo-American Empire While the bankrupt trans-Atlantic financial oligarchy imposes yet another futile sanctions package in its desperate attempt to destroy Russia’s productive capacities, sovereign Russia presses forward with the physical economy — even in the extreme conditions of the Far North. On the mighty Lena River near Yakutsk, the active phase of the summer construction season is in full swing for the Lena Bridge crossing. More than 460 specialists and 110 units of specialized equipment are operating simultaneously across the left and right banks and directly in the riverbed. Dredging operations have already reached over 70% completion at support No. 10 to prepare for positioning the first cofferdam. In parallel, pre-assembly of wall panels and installation of bottom elements for the cofferdam at support No. 8 are advancing rapidly — this will become the third and final cofferdam for the riverbed piers. On the right bank, crews are driving bored piles for the future road approach supports at Nos. 18, 23, 26, 28, and 29, while pile foundations for five additional supports have already been fully completed. Earthworks for the embankment continue, with more than 380,000 cubic meters of soil already placed. This 14.5-kilometer cable-stayed bridge — the first ever built in permafrost conditions — will deliver the first year-round automobile crossing over the Lena River in Yakutia, ending the isolation that cuts off much of the republic from the mainland for five to six months each year. It will connect the Trans-Siberian and Baikal-Amur railways with the Northern Sea Route, integrating eastern Russia with the Pacific coast. According to VIS Group project documentation, it will slash “northern delivery” costs, boost Yakutia’s GRP by up to 3% annually, and generate at least 200 billion rubles in non-energy investment. Far from a standalone effort, this project continues the strategic vision advanced at LaRouche-supported conferences such as the 2007 Moscow megaprojects event and the 2011 Yakutsk conference on Northeast Russia infrastructure — both oriented toward the ultimate goal of a Bering Strait crossing and a World Land-Bridge uniting Eurasia and the Americas. They require cooperation among sovereign nation-states operating with a genuine national credit system — not the predatory debt slavery imposed by the City of London and Wall Street.
