Sustainable agriculture starts with access to water. In Ghana, we’re working with local farmers to develop irrigation systems that nurture crops and support year-round harvests. 🌾💧 By investing in farmers, we're cultivating stronger communities.

🌍 International Day of Indigenous Peoples 🌍
Poverty rates in Indigenous communities are disproportionately high. The Hunger Project partners with these communities in Latin America to build positive relationships with local governments, ensuring fair access to resources.
At 52, Chaim Solomon Aggrey of Amanfro grows corn, cassava, and yams on 20 hectares. Inspired by The Hunger Project and his role as chair of the Epicentre committee, Chaim made his dream a reality. He now trains others in land management and serves with the local government.
At 58, Comfort Owusu grinds corn into flour at the Kwakyekrom epicentre. Despite her limited schooling, Comfort dreams of providing education to children in her village. She's saving her profits to open the school and make education accessible to the children in her village.
🌍🚨 This is a global hunger emergency, a critical moment for humanity. With up to 757 million people—mostly women and girls—living in hunger, these are some of the highest numbers in decades.
Get involved today.
