Every episode of Widow's Bay so far has been amazing, but the two Patricia-centric episodes were on another level. Kate O'Flynn is a freakin' star. I'm obsessed with how well the show balances comedy with horror.
Her story is not hard to understand at all. Sexism in society and the work place caused her to feel she needed to hide and escape being a woman because everyone around her made her feel that only men can be great detectives and respected as such. Then she learns to accept herself and that she is a great detective, society is wrong and to fight for her right to be acknowledged as such.
People just don't want to understand it because it didn't lead them where they wanted it to go.
This is why the binge model sucks.
What do you mean we are already talking about the Spider-Noir finale?
Most of us haven’t even had a chance to start the series yet.
