@kevinolearytv It doesn't even have to be a huge load either. Simplistic things like text extraction have helped my app tremendously. Users don't have to type in the details of an order. AI can extract that in a 100ms and save the time. Total compute time is super small https://t.co/PkqJsPd2Zq
@IamMLeclercq Launched https://t.co/MM1GFuD2Cy for home bakers this week, still ironing out features but its a vastly simplified way to track orders for a home bakery business
@marclou and @levelsio been inspiring me to put something out for so long that I've finally launched https://t.co/4sHaZfqELn
Most home bakeries don't need a website, invoicing, and million dollar payment systems. They need a simple way to copy / paste the conversations they had with their customer and a system that'll extract those details (using AI) and create an order.
They don't use stripe or square with fancy invoices. They get paid through facebook pay, or venmo, or cash by the customer. All those extra fees and features just muddy up the experience of using the big name players software.
HomeBatch has no fluff, no invoicing, no websites, and no setup headache. Have conversations, track orders, run reports. That's it, $5/month
@DeanFiacco@levelsio It's inconvenient or at most frustrating for a developer. For the non technical user, it's pretty devastating when they don't know any better
@DeanFiacco@levelsio They 100% do. A simple set of commands to setup a new NIC in my server last night was like pulling teeth. Finally just researched it myself and had it done in 10 mins.
@hoangvuzxc12 I'm seeing a lot of founders offer the "lifetime access" option like you. Could you shed some on your opinion of why that is?
To me, MRR, seems like the more attractive option. So why offer lifetime at all?
