@pleyden92 Yeah, Neptune seems to be a more defense-oriented coach at this point. I thought he had his guys ready to play, but McDermott is tough out of timeouts.
Key play of the game ended up being Whitmore fouling Alexander with Creighton in the bonus. Nobody will remember it, but it's the little things that make the difference.
Seemed to me that Whitmore plays too tight defensively. Makes it harder to keep the ball-handler in front.
Looks like another hard luck loss for Villanova. Shame, because it felt like they deserved that one. They'll be a trendy "dark horse" to win the Big East Tournament, I'm sure.
A lot of east coasters who weren't familiar with Sean Miller coming into this season may have known him as a cheater that couldn't break through in March.
The time to familiarize yourself is now up. He's the best coach in this league and one of the best in the country.
@TheSportsJD@mattstdream@mtosc98 David would technically be a newcomer even though he obviously played in the league last year.
Honesty, I should have just posed the question without the names and let people pick their own teams. There are some complicated personnel decisions to be made on both sides.
Newcomers vs. returnees. What's the line set at? @TheSportsJD@mattstdream@mtosc98
