This is the same building the American real estate expert reviewed.
The very same building.
Here is Ola of Lagos’s review of that house. Zero useful information. Zero sensible analysis. Just a lot of noise, useless hype and sprinkles of “I no fit poor”
Governor Alex Otti is not highly admired by civil servants in Abia State, as they claim he is constantly auditing every ministry and agency. He runs the state's bureaucracy like a business, to the anger of those who see government jobs as a source of free money. He withholds salary for every default.
But others praise him for conducting the most transparent employment exercises; my friend received an offer from Abia State University and his first salary—which he said was even higher than what was stated in his employment letter—without paying anyone or knowing anyone. I have met and know many people who secured teaching jobs in primary and secondary schools without paying bribes, which was the norm previously.
The physical aesthetics of Aba have not improved much, but the roads are way better and the environment is cleaner. The brash brushing culture still remains; people run in front of Keke Napep. There are no marked pedestrian crossings.
There is this calm. The generator noise has almost disappeared from all the clothing-making areas in Kent, York, Tennant, Cameron, Azikiwe or Pounds Road; even St. Michael's is quiet now.
There is a predictable pattern in electricity supply; even when the supply is interrupted, people wait patiently for it to return because it is going to be restored. It has been raining for an hour now and is continuing as I type this, but we have power.
Lastly, I think he is investing in more citizen-centered infrastructure [the schools with running water, the hospitals with electricity and consumables, the developments outside the urban areas] rather than "legacy projects." The results of these will be evident in years to come, not immediately.
"...My father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a man of legacy, and he has endured this in his political career. I challenge today all the youths in this room to go forward and remember where we came from, and go forward and demand to be given a chance. Go forward and demand to be in the room..." - Seyi Tinubu, Convener, Seyi Tinubu Colloquium
I am seeking assistance. My apartment was raided this morning by individuals disguised in military uniforms. They arrived in an additional van and took nearly all valuable items from each room. We were kidnapped and subsequently abandoned far away in Tema. They also confiscated .

Ahmed Abubakar is from Zakka, a small, quiet village in Safana LGA, Katsina State. He only just earned his Bachelor's degree in 2024. Before that certificate ever came, he was already hustling to build a life - teaching in his community, trading fairly in used cars and household appliances to put food on the table.
On September 28, 2019, he married the love of his life, Nafisa Musa. Their love story just reached its most beautiful chapter: on March 20th, 2026, God blessed them with a baby girl.
She is only 7 months old.
Right now, as you read this, Nafisa is still nursing that infant. She is still healing. Ahmed is still trying to figure out how to secure a future for a child who hasn't even learned to walk.
And then evil came knocking.
Armed terrorists stormed their home in Kaduna and dragged them away - a young father, a nursing mother, and a naked 7-month-old baby girl clutched to her mother's chest. No mercy. No clothes for the baby. They drove them like animals through thick bushes and unforgiving hills into captivity.
Now they are demanding N300 million. That's $225,394.
Let that sink in.
At Nigeria's current minimum wage of N70,000 a month, an honest Nigerian would have to work for 357 YEARS and 2 months - 4,286 months straight - saving every single kobo, not eating, not paying rent, not paying transport, just to make what these gunmen are demanding in one night.
A young family that has harmed no one, that was only trying to raise their baby in peace, now has an AK-47 pointed at them.
A father who spent his life teaching other people's children.
A mother whose arms have never known anything but love and care for her baby.
And a 7-month-old girl who has not even lived long enough to know what the world is, now facing a world at its cruelest.
How does a family like this raise N300 million in one night? Where are they supposed to find it?
How?
“I have every right to disrespect the president, he’s my servant. bola ahmed tinubu @officialABAT, you’re not our daddy, you’re our servant, we sent you there.
Nigeria was on the path of progress in 2015 before @OfficialAPCNg came into power and destroy the whole country. And some ijiots are telling us that Rome was not built in a day.
Was Rome destroyed along the path of progress?…”

“I will be voting for President Tinubu in 2027. In Nigeria, once the price of anything goes up, it can never come down.”
