정작 전시회를 예약하지도 않았던 분들이, 전시회에 참여하기 위해 적극적으로 예매하고 기다렸지만 결국 여러 이유로 취소를 선택한 팬들을 왜 헐뜯고 비난하는지 모르겠습니다.

전시회를 준비했고, 결국 취소라는 결정을 내려야 했던 저조차 그분들을 원망하거나 탓하지 않습니다. 오히려 처음부터 전시를 기대하고 참여하려 했던 그 마음이 고맙고, 그만큼 이번 일로 실망하고 상처받았을 마음도 충분히 이해합니다.

그런데 여러분은 왜 같은 팬을 비난하나요?

탑을 더 많이 사랑하고 응원한다고 생각한다고 해서 다른 팬을 비난할 자격까지 생기는 것은 아닙니다. 그의 연애를 응원한다고 해서 더 훌륭한 팬이 되는 것도 아니고, 그렇지 않다고 해서 누군가가 부족한 팬이 되는 것도 아닙니다.

어떤 입장을 가지고 있느냐가 팬으로서의 마음의 크기나 자격을 결정한다고 생각하지 않습니다.
그를 응원하는 마음이 누군가의 감정을 함부로 평가하거나 다른 팬을 공격할 권리를 주는 것도 아닙니다.

누구나 각자의 방식으로 그를 좋아하고 응원할 수 있습니다. 기대했던 만큼 실망할 수도 있고, 그 과정에서 상처받을 수도 있습니다. 내가 느끼는 감정만 옳다고 생각하며 다른 사람의 마음을 함부로 판단하거나 깎아내리지 않았으면 합니다.

다른 사람을 깎아내린다고 해서 내가 더 나은 팬이 되는 것도, 더 우월해지는 것도 아닙니다. 내가 선택한 방식이 언제나 옳은 것도 아니며, 나와 다른 생각과 방식을 가진 사람이 틀린 것도 아닙니다.

그렇기에 팬들끼리 서로를 나누고, 누가 더 좋은 팬인지 판단하고, 서로의 응원 방식을 깎아내리는 모습이 더욱 안타깝습니다.

지금의 T.O.P 을 응원하고 승현이의 곁을 지켜주는 팬 한 사람 한 사람이 너무나 소중합니다.
그리고 무엇보다 T.O.P이 진심으로 행복하기를 바라는 마음은 결국 우리 모두 같다고 생각합니다. 그를 응원하는 방식도, 지금 느끼는 감정도 서로 다를 수 있지만, 그가 잘되고 행복하기를 바라는 마음만큼은 다르지 않을 거라고 믿습니다.
