@JeremyJCastle2 @jk4mp Dixon has been starving for a 1st place finish in the conference for so long. It's so tough when you play Byron Week 3. I do like that Dixon plays Du-Pec Week 9 that should be a doozy at the end of the season!

@JeremyJCastle2 Another note, I feel Dixon's defense will be about as athletic as I've seen in quite a while as well. No super big guys on the D-line, but a lot of athleticism should help them be successful this season on that side of the ball.

@NUICFootball Awesome to see Big Northern Conference coverage. I know a LOT about this conference. I expect the Big Northern to be a lot more competitive this season, especially with the addition of former NUIC team Du-Pec. I think they can compete well with Byron and Dixon to be top dogs.

I don't disagree with your assessment, but Dixon will be very balanced compared to recent seasons. Their skill group is about as good as I've seen in quite a while. A lot to replace on both O-line and D-line though.

@lividwx Because the nose of the 500mb-jet, modest CAPE values, and warm frontal boundary/outflow will be. Environment is much more conducive to strong tornadoes north than south, depending on Monday morning storms.
