Just had an amusing encounter at the United lounge at Pdx. My husband and 2 friends both had cash business class seats on a @united flight going out. I was flying another carrier. I walked up to the checkin desk with my husband and had no intention of being let in but wondered 1)

if my friends might come out just to say hello. The attendant at the desk clearly wanted me to leave the premises right away even as my husband began checking in with her and looking at changing his flight to an earlier one (I was not holding her up from helping anyone else) 2)

She has the chance to make 3 full premium customers feel good about how United customer service is but instead we all came away thinking of would have been better to fly delta LOL. Again no expectation of being let in just seeing my people off but she literally made a scene.

@KLM That’s part of my complaint. I filled out the lost baggage claim @skyhandlingpartner and no one ever gave me a PIR. I didn’t know to ask at the time. Now I’m at airport and bags were found but making us wait an hour? without help.

@KLM has the worst baggage handling out of DUB. Avoid travelling on them. We have been without our baggage for a golf trip for a day and a half w/o a word from them even letting us know when they will get the bags to us yet I know (via Apple AirTags) the bags arrived last night.
