🔎Role of ctDNA in RCC treated with adjuvant pembrolizumab vs placebo? KEYNOTE564 trial @DrChoueiri

w/ 16-plex assay, ctDNA was detectable:
-At baseline in 5.4% patients in both arms
-4% in intermediate-high risk
-18.9% in high risk
-10.5% M1 NED patients

w/ 64-plex assay, ctDNA was detectable:
-At baseline in 8.2% patients in both arms
-6.9% in intermediate-high risk
-20.8% in high risk
-13.2% M1 NED patients

➡️Higher ctDNA clearance in pembro arm>placebo
➡️ctDNA positivity is negatively associated with DFS in both arms
➡️ctDNA at baseline has low sensitivity and high specificity to predict DFS
